ABOUT MINA

I'm Mina and I'm an  English language teacher. I consider myself a language coach. 


I am here to coach you to become confident when speaking in English.

 I studied English Teaching in London where I got my CELTA Certificate and Novi Sad, Serbia where I got my B.A. in English Language and Literature

I have been working as an English teacher since 2002 in London (at International House London), in schools in Novi Sad and via Skype with students worldwide.

I have also taught literacy and phonics working as a Teaching Assistant at Barnhill Community High School in London.

 I speak a little bit of French and Italian, some basic Greek and German, and I speak Serbian. And I know how challenging it can be to learn a new language or any new skill! Therefore, I like to make sure my students feel it is OK to make mistakes, to try and to ask for help because that is the best way to learn something and become confident in the new skill. 

Our lessons are tailored to YOUR NEEDS so each student’s lesson will be unique. We can have just conversation classes with topics that are particularly interesting for you. There may be some very specific grammar points that you are struggling with and we can work on that. I can help you with the grammar mistakes that you tend to make. Working together, we can also expand your vocabulary so that you become more and more confident when speaking English. 

I see myself as a language coach- I coach and support you to achieve your particular goals. Your goal may be to pass an exam, prepare for a job interview, travel to London, learn how to write essays or just to be more confident when talking to friends or colleagues in English.

I teach online - via Skype and Google Hangouts.

I have worked as a Centre Manager at HAD Hillingdon in  London and as an interpreter in Risk Management for a well-known bank and this is where I acquired business experience which informs my teaching Business English and ESP.
